Conduct Marwar Horse and Cattle show
Such shows have been organised since 1986 under the aegis of Jodhpur Polo & Equestrian Institute and now since 1999 by our society. The Marwar Horse & Cattle Show in 2010 was held during the celebrations of Marwar Samaroh from 15th to 16th October in collaboration with Rajasthan Tourism and District administration Jodhpur.
Tonga Race
In the early hours of 16th Oct., 2010 a Tonga Race was organized on the Jodhpur Mandore-Nagore Road. It was very heartening to see the enthusiasm of the participants who gathered in the pre-dawn darkness, at 6:00 AM the race started, there were eight Tongas. They completed the 6 Kms race in full gallop in a record time of ten minutes. The Tonga owners have their supporters following the Tongas on the road on their motor cycles/jeeps – the winner was Shri Sanver Ali of Jodhpur. The traffic Police did a marvelous job to control the traffic on the road.

All the winners of animal classes and young riders were given cash prizes, trophies and certificates, Smt. Rani Chandresh Kumari M.P. from Jodhpur gave away the prizes, Shri Rameshwar Dadhich Mayor, Jodhpur, Shri Narayan Singh Manaklao Ex. M.P., Shri Jaswant Singh Kachhawa, Shri Manohar Singh DIG (Retd.) and other dignitaries visited to witness the show. Shri Vikas Pandya, Dy. Director Tourism, Rajasthan was present.

A melodious Band competition between Bands of BSF, Mehrangarh, Police, RAC and Central Jail Jodhpur was held.
